Published on Main is an upscale West Coast–inspired restaurant on Main Street in Mount Pleasant that serves hearty yet creative dishes with a focus on sustainability. The restaurant is also a big supporter of local farms and producers, foraging new ingredients for their menu as they come into season.
Executive Chef Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson has been serving up dishes that are ingredient-driven with big flavours since the restaurant opened in December 2019.
Published on Main may be best known for its Jägerschnitzel, alongside other items such as German potato salad, short rib goulash, and specials like the Kassler pork belly.
The restaurant’s current menu — called “Published Provisions ” — is changing every Sunday. Guests can also find an impressive selection of prepared foods, like dressing, stock, and caramels, as well as biodynamic wines.
The Main Street restaurant is now offering take out via Tock and has gift cards available for purchase. Delivery coming soon.
